Ad campaign: building brand visibility for OnBuy across ITV, national billboards & more

The goal of this campaign was to increase brand awareness for OnBuy, positioning the platform as a top competitor in the UK marketplace sector. With the aim of reaching a broad audience, the campaign spanned multiple platforms - including ITV, billboards up and down the country, and across paid and owned social media channels - to ensure maximum visibility and engagement.

What I did:

  • Led the creative vision for the campaign, ensuring the messaging and tone were consistent across all platforms, while aligning with OnBuy’s brand values and objectives.

  • Scripted and storyboarded the TV ad, outlining the creative flow, key messages, and visual direction to ensure the final product captured the essence of OnBuy's offering.

  • I shaped the visual storytelling for the TV ad and ensured all assets across billboards and social media maintained a cohesive, eye-catching aesthetic.

The results:

The campaign significantly boosted OnBuy’s visibility across the UK, reaching millions through ITV commercials and nationwide billboards.

Social media engagement and website traffic saw a noticeable increase (+27%, to be precise), and the ads now have over 1m views on YouTube.

Most importantly, the campaign resulted in an 86% rise in direct sales, helping OnBuy strengthen its position as a key player in the UK eCommerce space and attracting a wider customer base.
