PR piece: celebrating B Corp certification achievement
The aim of this project was to strategically position U4L’s recent B Corp certification as a key milestone in their commitment to sustainability and ethical business practices.
My goal was to generate local media coverage that highlighted U4L’s achievements and helped solidify their reputation as a purpose-driven company.

The press release played a key role in increasing brand awareness and engagement within the local business community, helping position U4L as a leader in their field when it comes to ethical practices.
How I got there:
Created the pitch and worked closely with a PR freelancer to tailor this to different media outlets, ensuring the messaging was aligned with U4L’s values and effectively communicated their B Corp certification.
Coordinated a photoshoot to capture compelling, on-brand visuals that complemented the announcement and enhanced the story.
Wrote and edited the press release, ensuring the language was clear, engaging, and informative while staying true to U4L’s brand voice.
Collaborated with U4L’s team to ensure the visuals and content were cohesive and effectively conveyed the company’s sustainability efforts.
